This is my (Johanna) 4th blog post and one of my favorites that I have written. On September 17 at 5:09 a.m. a miracle happened. Ella Shalom, 8lb 6oz was born. She was 21 in. long. Beautiful Myers baby No. 11. She is so adorable and she turned 1 month old last Monday. Around 5:30 of the day she was born, I was woken up by my mom's friend, who was at the birth, saying, "Joey, there's a new baby in your house, and you get to cut the umbilical cord." I woke up immediately and crept quietly into Mama's room. In there I found the midwife who has delivered every baby from Seth down, and four asisstants, and Coco (my grandma) and my 3 oldest sisters. I went to the other side of the bed and the girls whispered to me, "it's a girl." My heart gave a great leap and right at that moment in all the excitement I just stopped and whispered a quiet, "Thank you, LORD!!!"
