February In Review... A Tad Late

What an exciting month it has been!! Me (Johanna) and my brother Samuel started the next session of piano lessons, my little sister turned 4 on the 23rd, and me and my sisters Karina, Naomi, and Charity started dance class! But I think what I have enjoyed the most is the warm weather and just being able to run and jump and play outside! It has been around the 40's and 50's weather-wise.

 

Me and Seth and Caleb and Samuel and Charity played some capture-the-flag around the outside of the house. It is so fun!!! We (me, Seth, and Lillian) did a trick show on Lillian's birthday. She turned 4!

 

She had a great birthday filled with playing, presents, and lots of love!! Well, all you blog readers have a good March, and I hope to write again soon!! ~Johanna

Children are a Blessing!

You may think that with ten children in the family, the arrival of one more makes little difference, that it has become an unexciting, even routine occurrence. You may even think that we would rather not have more siblings. Sure, living in a large family has it's challenges, just like living in an average-sized family. But it's also a crazy lot of fun, and we're always ready for one more to join the bunch, as evidenced by the joy and excitement in our home when our parents announced something. I don't suppose you could guess what it is.....

Why, you did guess it! Yes, my parents are expecting again! We are so blessed and excited to be announcing this new little life which the Lord has given to our family!

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
